We can then arrange your onward travel from your destination airport and return. On your return to the UK, you can choose a “meet and greet” option, where your driver will come in and collect you from the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, or simply call the driver to find out where they are waiting! All the information you need will be on the booking form.

Vienna Airport – (VIE)

Vienna International Airport located in Schwechat is 11 miles southeast of central Vienna. It is the busiest and biggest airport in Austria.

Travelling to and from the airport

Bus services and the metro are the most efficient way of getting around in Vienna. However you also have the option of renting a car or taking a taxi which are reasonable in price.

All of these methods of transport are affordable. A bus ride from the airport to the city centre lasts 20minutes and runs every half an hour from 5am- midnight.

Climate

Although a lot of people think of the summer climate in Vienna being pleasant and sunny, there are days when it can feel exceptionally hot! The month of august usually experiences at least a few days when the temperatures rise as high as 14 C/ 86 F or even as high as 14 C/ 90 F. This Glorious weather can be short lived at times, however it can last up to a week or two.
