We can then arrange your onward travel from your destination airport and return. On your return to the UK, you can choose the “meet and greet” option, this is where your driver will come in and collect you from the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, or simply call the driver on the number that has been provided for you to find out where they are waiting! All the information you need will be on the booking form and hopefully this will answer any queries that you may have.

Pescara Airport – (PSR)

Abruzzo Airport (Pescara Airport) is located near Pescara, Italy. It is the main hub of Itali Airlines. The airport is located approximately 4 km from the centre of Pescara, about 180 km from Rome, a 2 hour drive by car on an easy, panoramic motorway across the Appennine mountains.

Travelling to and from the airport

There is a bus that runs to and from the airport which will take you to the main bus and train station where you can then catch the next one to the centre. The first part of this journey takes about 15mins. You will find the bus station directly outside the airport.

Car rental is an also option but finding a taxi outside the airport can sometimes prove quite difficult.

Climate

Pescara has a Mediterranean climate typical of Adriatic Sea, with hot, dry summers, rainy winters and high humidity all year round. The average temperature is around 7 degC in the coldest month (January) and 24.5 degC in the warmest month (July). In summer the weather is mostly stable and sunny with temperatures that, thanks to the sea breeze, rarely exceed 35 degrees unless a southwesterly wind is blowing. Particularly in summer, but also in winter, the high humidity leads to morning and evening mist or haze.
